This year, Toroa Study students are gearing up to get stuck into their Reading. Their first task for the term was to come up with their own topics and then Miss McCormick would find all the material we needed to research and unpack this topic.
We start off with having an umbrella focus.. then all of our knowledge, skills and fun stuff falls underneath that.
Miss McCormick wrote down all the umbrella focus' we had last term and then we had to think, chat and research about ones that we wanted to do this term. Once we had done that, we wrote down on a post it and stuck it under our group name.
Some of us even went to the Library to do some extended research!
We're pretty excited our Reading for this term. Heres an example of what we did today in class.. Miss McCormick ran out of post its!
Welcome to the Toroa Learning Blog! This is where as a class we share our learning, experiences, photos, videos and lots more! Check us out and feel free to comment!
