Andrew's Summary of Staying Afloat
This week we read a story called Staying Afloat. It's about how Grandad went fishing with Vika and Kele. Kele didn’t want to have his life jacket on because he thought he could swim. So Grandad told him a story about his cousin Saia who nearly drowned. After that Kele was happy to put his life jacket on. Grandad told Kele not to stand up in the boat but Kele did and then it rocked and he fell in. Kele was lucky to have his life jacket on.
